Uninstallation

This page explains how to fully remove the conneQt® Toolbar from a Windows workstation. It covers the standard Windows uninstall process, a scripted PowerShell method for managed deployments, and an optional deregistration step for cases where the licence registration needs to be explicitly cleared.

In most cases, uninstalling via Windows is sufficient, the standard uninstaller will remove the application and its registration in a single step. The additional methods on this page are provided for specific scenarios, such as automated deployments or situations where deregistration is required independently of uninstallation.

Warning

Before proceeding, confirm with your IT team or practice lead that the Toolbar is no longer required for any active clinical workflows.

Deregistration Options

Occasionally, deregistering the conneQt® Toolbar from a local machine is necessary to remove registration material from the Windows PC, especially for practice installations or if an installation is blocked by Quicksilva's back-end services team.

A Windows Administrator can unregister by running this command on the PC:

Qxlva.Toolbar.Client.UserInterface.exe /unregister
Note

You can skip this process when uninstalling the conneQt® Toolbar from a Windows PC, as using the Windows add/remove programs feature will remove the registration key if it exists.
